Careers

All applications are currently closed as of February 20, 2026.

Full-time staff receive the following benefits immediately upon hire.

  • 2-week minimum paid vacation
  • $250 / month healthcare stipend
  • $1,000 annual professional development stipend
  • 2 Quiet Weeks (This is a week-long period in summer and winter when our staff and residents focus on their well-being priorities.)

As many of our staff are formerly incarcerated, survivors of violence, and/or in substance use or mental health recovery, it is our priority to invest in their wealth and well-being.

Logistically, that can be a challenge for a small, rural non-profit, but rural people aren’t afraid to do hard things. As we continue to raise funds for staff wellness, here’s what we aim to offer in the near future:

  • Robust medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Retirement plans with an employer contribution, regardless of employee match (Note: We also intend to find a plan that divests from prison labor. Learn more here.)
  • A vacation bonus for taking five consecutive days of vacation where staff fully unplug from work

If you would like to support us in making these new benefits possible, send us an e-mail at info [at] benevolencefarm.org
